PolyPeptide is looking for a Process Development Scientist to help advance innovative API processes from the lab bench to full-scale cGMP manufacturing. In this role, you’ll design and optimize synthetic routes, support technology transfer, and work alongside talented scientists who are driving the next generation of peptide and oligonucleotide medicines.

PolyPeptide is looking for a Process Development Scientist to help advance innovative API processes from the lab bench to full-scale cGMP manufacturing. In this role, you’ll design and optimize synthetic routes, support technology transfer, and work alongside talented scientists who are driving the next generation of peptide and oligonucleotide medicines.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and scale synthetic processes for peptide and oligonucleotide APIs.
- Lead technology transfers from Development to Production across sites.
- Monitor and optimize chemical reactions, purification steps, and drying processes.
- Perform HPLC purification and in-process testing with strong analytical accuracy.
- Solve process and equipment challenges while maintaining high safety and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support efficient, compliant manufacturing.
- Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with 1 year of experience or Master’s with 5 years of experience
- 4 years of industry experience in organic chemistry; peptide chemistry a plus
- Strong foundation in synthetic chemistry, process development, and analytical techniques
- Familiarity with cGMP environments and tech transfer
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or with cross-functional teams

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
