SUMMARY
The Service Desk Coordinator Trainee's primary contribution to the organization consists of telephone support and correspondence between all employees and the IT Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Application support and troubleshooting
- Resolve IT Service Desk tickets
- Report generation, running, printing and charting telephone logs
- On site and remote user support
- Printers and computers installation and deployment
- Maintain inventory of all assets
- Ordering computers and equipment
- Network cable termination
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Experience in Service Desk activities MCDST (Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) CompTIA A ITIL certification is a plus
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
