What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-person Italian Instructor position at Polyglottist Language Academy?
Polyglottist Language Academy is expanding our Italian program and seeking an experienced Italian instructor to teach in-person classes in downtown Berkeley. This is a part-time, contract position.
Students: Adults
Responsibilities
- Develop and create your own Italian curriculum.
- Conduct engaging, interactive in-person classes.
- Foster a positive and dynamic learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with the program director.
Requirements
- Fluent in Italian and English.
- Master’s degree in Italian, Linguistics, Literature, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Italian.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Reliable and responsive via email.
