At Poly & Bark, we design furniture that earns a permanent place in the home — thoughtfully constructed, honestly priced, built to last. We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Product Development team and keep our pipeline moving from concept to customer.
The Role
This isn't a full product development seat. You won't be sourcing factories or designing frames. You're the person who makes sure everyone else can do their work — on time, in sequence, without things falling through the cracks.
You'll own the calendar, the checkpoints, and the communication layer that connects our design, sourcing, QC, creative, and merchandising teams. When a new sofa is moving from sample approval to final spec, you know exactly where it stands. When a deadline slips, you catch it before it becomes a problem.
What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end timelines for new product launches across our furniture catalog
- Coordinate handoffs between internal teams and overseas manufacturing partners
- Track open items across sampling, finishes, hardware, dimensions, and packaging
- Run weekly cross-functional syncs and keep project boards current
- Flag delays, surface blockers, and keep stakeholders aligned at every stage
- Maintain documentation so nothing lives only in someone's inbox
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of project management experience — furniture, home goods, apparel, or similar hard goods preferred
- An eye for design — you don't need to be a designer, but you can tell when something looks off and you care about the details
- Comfortable working with overseas production timelines and the complexity they bring
- Strong with project management tooling (Airtable, Asana, Monday, or equivalent)
- The kind of organized that other people notice
- No furniture design background required — but genuine curiosity about how a product goes from sketch to showroom matters here
