Polsinelli has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Coordinator in the Kansas City office. The first 90 days of this position will be fully on-site with potential to move to a hybrid schedule after. The successful candidate will have 5 years or more in accounts payable experience in a professional services industry, be able to work in a fast paced, high-volume environment, and be able to adjust as needed to the firm’s continually growing needs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and process vendor invoices.
- Review and process employee reimbursement requests.
- Research and follow up on vendor statements.
- Assist with weekly payment cycles to vendors and reimbursement payments to employees.
- Respond to vendor or internal inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with Sales & Use Tax Review.
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist with audit inquiries.
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competent in various applications such as Elite, Chrome River, Microsoft Outlook and Excel, and various banking websites.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- 5 years or more of related experience, Business degree preferred.
- Competent in applications such as Elite, Chrome River, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Online Banking.
