What are the responsibilities and job description for the Auto Body Prep and Detailing Tech position at Polo Collision?
Responsibilities:
- Clean and detail vehicles, including interior and exterior surfaces
- Vacuum, shampoo, and steam clean carpets and upholstery
- De-nib, Buff, Polish, and wax vehicle exteriors to a high shine
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
- Remove dirt, dust, and debris from vehicle interiors
-Prep parts/vehicles for prior to paint
-Tape and mask vehicles prior to paint
Qualifications:
-Must know how to properly tape/prep parts for paint
-Must know how to buff and wax vehicles after being painted
-Minimum 1 year auto detailing/paint correction experience required
- Knowledge of custodial and cleaning techniques
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently - Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
