Seeking Plumbing Helper with some experience in both commercial and residential plumbing to work full time in a family-owned plumbing and heating company in Northvale, New Jersey. Our firm prides itself on the quality of its service and high level of professionalism, and is looking for a motivated, self-starter who has the same work ethic. This position provides daily on the job training. Pay is based on experience.
- Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- New construction, rough and finish plumbing
- Kitchen and bathroom renovations
- Water heaters and boilers
- Repairs and service
- Inspecting plumbing and heating systems to determine fittings, connections and pipes required for installations.
- Maintenance, repair and installation services.
- Installing and repairing commercial and residential rough plumbing and plumbing fixtures (toilets, water heaters, sinks, bathtubs and other products).
- Candidate Requirements:
- Understand the NJ Plumbing Code.
- Ability to read blue prints.
- Be able to communicate professionally with everyone on the job.
- Keep the work truck clean and organized.
- Perform simple computations and use a tape measure accurately.
- Work safely, adhere to codes and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Be responsible, trustworthy and presentable.
- Be punctual and motivated.
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license.
- Must already be living in northern New Jersey or immediately adjacent areas.
- Vacation and sick days provided.
- Minimum 40-hour workweek/Monday through Friday
- Rate: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour/based on experience

**Candidates OUTSIDE of Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties or Rockland County/NY will NOT be considered due to distance/traffic.**
