Polk County has an opening for a full-time Highway Maintenance position at the Highway Department. This position is located in Crookston. The primary duties for this position are the maintenance and repair of county roads, bridges, and parks by operating various heavy equipment, including motor grader, tandem truck, loader, forklift, and tractor/mower. Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED and moderate experience in mechanical and heavy equipment operation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have a valid Commercial Driver’s License with Class “A” endorsement. Wage range for this position is $27.09 – $34.32/hr, DOE and qualifications.
