Recruiter

As our primary Commercial Recruiter, you will be the driving force behind our growth. You will own the entire recruiting cycle—from sourcing and screening to interviewing and onboarding—specializing in finding top-tier concrete polishers, crew leaders, and project managers. The recruiter utilizes an in-house applicant tracking system and spreadsheet-based tools to manage candidate pipelines efficiently while supporting onboarding and general office functions without travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Source qualified candidates for various roles within the flooring sector
• Post job listings and coordinate candidate interviews
• Develop and execute creative recruitment strategies targeting skilled tradespeople, including active sourcing on job boards (ZipRecruiter, Indeed) and engaging passive candidates.
• Screen applicants and conduct interviews to assess fit
• Verify candidate certifications (e.g., OSHA, ACI credentials), conduct background checks, and streamline the onboarding process.
• Communicate regularly with management, clients and candidates to facilitate hiring decisions
• Support onboarding processes for new hires
• Assist with general office duties as needed
• Forecast staffing needs and maintain talent pipelines

Required Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
• Proficiency in candidate screening and interviewing techniques
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and spreadsheet-based tracking
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Effective time management and organizational abilities
• Demonstrated headhunting skills
