What are the responsibilities and job description for the Aircraft Maintenance Chief Inspector position at Polaris Aviation Solutions?
We are looking for a Chief Inspector for a smaller Part 135 operation that flies large aircraft (Gulfstreams, BBJ's). Will be second-in-line in the Maintenance Department behind the D.O.M.
- Ability to solicit and evaluate quotes for major inspection events.
- Ability to supervise major inspection events.
- Ability to lead the process for conforming Part 135 aircraft.
- Administrative skills for reviewing and revising Part 135 documentation.
- Maintaining and developing vendor relationships on a continual basis to include bi-annual audits.
- Maintenance software skills (Veryon).
- Supervising Purchasing, Receiving, Inspecting, and Shipping Receivables and Cores.
- Self Starter and work independently.
- Human Factors and CRM skills to coordinate with Flight Opertaions, Vendors, Clients and Senior Management on maintenance events.
- Proven knowledge of FAA regulations related to aircraft safety and maintenance procedures.
Pay: $130,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
