Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Inspector to join our security business unit.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responds to and perform service calls/requests.
- Apply solutions to system problems and/or advise Customer of repair options; may require coordination with Service Coordination Team and applicable Sales Consultant.
- Provides timely status updates on service calls.
- Required to learn and maintain an in-depth understanding of customer (s) needs, wants and systems infrastructure relating to access control and video systems.
- Responsible for performing self-study (reading, research, and practice) to obtain technical proficiency on required products and applications.
- Responsible for completing reports information on service tickets.
- High School Diploma
- 2-4 years of experience in troubleshooting, repairing, programming, testing and end-user training for access control and video systems.
- Certifications in one of the following areas: Cisco CCNA, A , Microsoft Professional or Networking (MCP), Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and/or Microsoft Server DBA (MCDBA)
- Two to four years’ experience with demonstrated electronics with a mechanical aptitude.
- Familiar with an analog/digital multi-meter.
