Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Barista / Café Worker to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, handling food items, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced café environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks, such as coffee, espresso, lattes, teas, and smoothies.
- Take customer orders and operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately.
- Handle food preparation and presentation, including pastries, sandwiches, and snacks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including counters, equipment, and seating areas.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Restock supplies and assist with inventory management.
- Greet customers, answer questions about menu items, and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including cleaning and cashing out.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a café, coffee shop, or hospitality environment preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and cleanliness.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
- Food handlers card.
Desirable Skills
- Basic knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and equipment.
- Customer service training or experience.
Schedule details
This can be a part time or full time position based on candidate. Nights and weekends are the prime operating hours.

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
