Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional chairside assistance, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting with a focus on general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, and endodontics. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care while adhering to HIPAA and infection control standards.
Duties
- Assist dentists during various procedures including restorations, extractions, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials using aseptic techniques
- Take and develop dental X-rays and operate imaging equipment
- Record vital signs and medical history, ensuring accurate medical documentation and records management
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure all equipment is sterilized according to industry standards
- Educate patients on dental procedures, post-treatment care, and oral health practices
- Perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques to improve efficiency during procedures
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
- Perform coronal polish

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
