What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Account Manager position at Pola Marketing?
POLA Marketing is hiring an Account Manager to lead our social media and marketing clients. You'll be the main point of contact for a roster of brands, own their strategy and results, and keep our social, creative, and ads teams pulling in the same direction.
This role suits someone who loves client relationships as much as the work itself: organized, direct, and happiest when a campaign lands and the numbers back it up.
About POLA
POLA Marketing is a full-service creative agency on Louisiana's Northshore. Since 2017 we've brought strategy, creative and execution together under one roof: branding, web design, social media management, Meta and Google Ads, and commercial photo and video shot in our own in-house studio.
POLA is short for polarity. We help brands find theirs by pushing past the conventional approach. We call ourselves a creative agency, not a marketing firm, and we were named No. 1 in Ad Age's Best Places to Work 2026 among companies with up to 150 employees.
What you'll do
- Own the day-to-day relationship with a portfolio of social media and marketing clients, from onboarding through renewal.
- Build and present each client's strategy: content calendars, campaign plans and quarterly roadmaps tied to their business goals.
- Brief and coordinate our designers, photographers, videographers and ads specialists so work ships on time and on brand.
- Review every deliverable before it reaches the client, for quality, accuracy and brand fit.
- Report on performance each month across organic social, Meta Ads, and Google Ads, and turn the numbers into clear recommendations.
- Manage scopes, timelines and budgets, and flag risks before they become problems.
- Lead client meetings and keep communication fast, clear and proactive.
- Spot opportunities to grow accounts, such as studio shoots, paid campaigns or web projects, and bring them to the team.
What you bring
- [2–4] years in account management, client services or a similar client-facing marketing role, ideally at an agency.
- Working knowledge of the major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn) and how organic and paid work together.
- Comfort reading analytics and explaining results to clients in plain language.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, and the confidence to lead a room.
- Sharp organization: you can run several accounts at once without dropping details or deadlines.
- A collaborative streak and respect for the creative process, with the judgment to push back when the work or the client needs it.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads.
- Experience with consumer product, e-commerce or food and beverage brands.
- Time spent on photo or video shoots, or managing production schedules.
- Familiarity with project management and social scheduling tools.
- A degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field.
