Duties
- Lead, motivate, and supervise restaurant staff to deliver outstanding food preparation, service, and hospitality.
- Oversee food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation.
- Coordinate shift management by scheduling staff efficiently to meet customer demand during peak hours.
- Train new team members on food preparation techniques, customer service standards, and operational procedures.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and safety in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Assist with budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to optimize restaurant profitability.
- Support culinary operations including cooking, food production, catering events, or banquet services as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments.
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling experience required.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training & development capabilities.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Experience in inventory control, budgeting, and operational planning within the food industry.
- Hospitality management background with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently during busy shifts; previous shift management experience preferred.
- Culinary or hotel experience is a plus; certifications in food safety or hospitality management are advantageous.
