We’re looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Team Member to join our Pokeworks crew! As a key part of our team, you’ll help deliver a fast, fresh, and friendly dining experience—whether you’re greeting guests, assembling various food items, or keeping our service area running smoothly, everything you do helps the team. Being an opener requires responsibility, accountability, dependability and consistancy. Because a strong open sets the pace for a great day; the ideal canidate is self motivated, effectively manages time, understands customer service, and can maintain an efficient pace. Schedule:
For the right candidate, this will be a year round fixed schedule from 9:30am-2:30pm Monday through Friday.
Pay:
$17.00-$17.15 per hour. tips distributed into paycheck.
Based on experience.
Bi-weekly pay.
Opportunities for bonus' based on performance.
Duties
- Must be punctual, dependable, and reliable
- Prepare food items according to company recipes and standards, ensuring quality and presentation
- Set up the workspace by stocking ingredients, utensils, and supplies needed for the day’s service
- Operate POS systems while accurately handling cash and sales processing
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and upsell menu items to enhance sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all food prep areas, counters, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling tasks including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations
- Manage time effectively to ensure all opening procedures are completed promptly and efficiently
- Contribute to cleaning dishes and other side cleaning tasks
Skills
- Must be dependable, reliable, and punctual.
- Experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is a plus.
- Familiarity with POS systems for cashiering and sales transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and handle inquiries professionally.
- Ability to provide hospitality to all guests including eye contact, smiling, and basic customer service skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
