We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Hourly Team Members to join our Pokeworks team! Key Responsibilities:
Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude
- Assist customers with menu selections and answer questions about ingredients and customization options
- Accurately take and process orders via POS system, ensuring efficiency and accurate
- Assemble poke bowls with speed and precision while maintaining portion control
- Handle cash and credit transactions responsibly, ensuring correct charges and change
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and service areas
- Monitor inventory of beverages, condiments, and disposable items, restocking as needed
- Assist with online, takeout, and delivery orders, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Back of House (BOH) Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh ingredients, including chopping vegetables, portioning proteins, and making sauce
- Follow standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality in food preparation
- Maintain proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures in compliance with health codes
- Operate kitchen equipment safely, including rice cookers, slicers, and refrigeration units
- Assist in inventory checks and proper stock rotation to minimize waste
- Keep prep stations and kitchen areas clean and organized throughout the shift
- Work efficiently as a team to meet demand during peak hours
- Follow safety guidelines for food handling, allergen awareness, and cross-contamination prevention
Qualifications & Skills:
- No prior experience required—training provided!
- Passion for food, hospitality, and teamwork
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Must be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs. for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
