Job Title: Physical Therapist Pay Range: $58-72/hour Job Description: Full-Time School Physical Therapist (PT) | Yelm, WA 2026–2027 School Year | In-Person | School-Based Setting | Itinerant Ampersand Therapy, a therapist-founded and therapist-run company, is looking for a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team for a full-time school-based position in Yelm, Washington. This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct therapy services to students in a collaborative and supportive educational environment. We are seeking a licensed School Physical Therapist who is eager to work in the public school setting and help students access their education through mobility and motor-based interventions. This role is ideal for a PT who is passionate about pediatric therapy, special education, and making a meaningful difference in students’ lives. Position Details: Job Title: School-Based Physical Therapist (PT) Location: Yelm, WA Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday Dates: 2026–2027 School Year Setting: In-person, school campuses K-12th grade Caseload: Assigned based on experience and team needs Responsibilities: Deliver direct physical therapy services to students with IEPs Complete physical therapy evaluations and document findings Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families Attend IEP meetings and contribute to student success planning Ensure compliance with state and district guidelines for therapy services Qualifications: Valid Washington State Physical Therapist License (required) ESA certification (or willingness to obtain) School-based PT experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply Strong interest in pediatric physical therapy, special education, and school systems Excellent communication and time management skills Why Join Ampersand Therapy?
