Essential Job Duties
- Pulls and stages orders for shipment, ensuring the packing list accurately matches the order.
- Examines and inspect stock items for wear, damage, or defects and reports issues to the supervisor.
- Ensures First‑In, first‑Out (FIFO) is followed for all material movements.
- Stocks finished goods items and maintains accurate inventory placement.
- Transports materials between the Warehouse and the Commercial and Military buildings as needed.
- Transports finished material requests to designated departments.
- Operates a cherry picker to pull raw materials and access high‑bay inventory locations safely and efficiently.
- Assists with pulling raw materials and staging them for production or shipment.
- Supports warehouse operations during non‑driving periods by performing material handling, stocking, order pulling, and general warehouse tasks.
- Works in accordance with company safety and quality standards at all times.
- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, material handling, or distribution operations.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or cherry pickers.
- Prior experience with inventory systems, material transactions, or basic computer data entry preferred.
- Experience pulling raw materials or working in a manufacturing/production support environment is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required for operating company vehicles between buildings.
- Ability to safely operate a cherry picker and other warehouse equipment (training/certification provided if needed).
- Ability to lift, move, and transport materials up to company‑required weight limits.
- Strong attention to detail when pulling orders, verifying packing lists, and handling inventory.
- Ability to follow FIFO, safety procedures, and quality standards consistently.
- Reliable, self‑motivated, and able to work independently during non‑driving periods.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple tasks throughout the day.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with Warehouse, Commercial, and Military teams.
- Must be able to work at heights when operating the cherry picker.
