The HR Summer Intern will support the Human Resources team with recruiting activities, candidate communication, and job description maintenance. - Assist with recruiting and sourcing candidates through job boards, referrals, and other talent channels.
- Review resumes and help identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Respond to candidates in a timely, professional manner and coordinate follow-up communication.
- Support interview scheduling and candidate status updates.
- Update job descriptions and relevant competencies in the UKG system.
- Assist with maintaining accurate recruiting records and HR documentation.
- Support additional HR projects as needed.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Must have completed 2 years of college coursework in a relevant field.
- English proficiency at a professional level is required for speaking, reading, and writing.
- High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfort learning HR systems.
- Must be a U.S. citizen due to federal contractor requirements, including ITAR/FAR compliance.
- Interest in recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems or HR software, including UKG.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
