Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Disaster Recovery and Server Administrator at Point Blank Enterprises' Pompano Beach, FL location. The role involves managing and maintaining server and systems infrastructure, ensuring system reliability, and implementing disaster recovery strategies. Key tasks include overseeing server administration, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring proper operation of operating systems. The role plays an essential part in safeguarding the continuity of mission-critical business functions through proactive maintenance and support.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Server Administration to manage and optimize IT infrastructure
- Strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills with an ability to resolve system and server issues efficiently
- In-depth knowledge of Operating Systems and their configurations
- Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation to ensure business continuity
- Experience in immutable backups
- Strong organizational and documentation skills for maintaining accurate system records and recovery plans
- Ability to work on-site in Pompano Beach, FL
- Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server , or equivalent are a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is preferred
