Position Summary
The PODER Academy is looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Teacher for Kindergarten through 6th Grade. The employee will be a part of a winning team and utilize a successful model that calls for hard work and determination. The job of the Elementary Physical Education Teacher is to provide instruction for physical education with a focus on tennis with specific responsibilities for supervising students, delivering small group instruction consistent with teacher expectation regarding physical education.
Qualifications
- Wyoming Teaching License; K-12 Physical Education Teacher
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience working with K-6 grade a plus
- Multiple Certifications/Endorsements a plus
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus

Work Schedule
Regular hours: Willingness to work hard and maintain a schedule of 7:40 AM – 4:00 PM
(Monday–Friday), with extended hours until 5:00 PM on Monday - Wednesday for clubs. Thursdays are designated for professional development sessions, held once or twice a month from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m.
Lunch: One-hour uninterrupted lunch break provided daily
Compensation & Salary Growth
*Starting salary: $51,500 plus a signing bonus*
Guaranteed salary increases:
- 7.5% annually for the first three years
- 5.5% annually for the subsequent three years
- 3.5% annually for the following three years
- Ongoing 2.5%–3.0% annual increases thereafter based on cost of living
Performance Bonuses:
- 3rd–6th grade teachers are eligible for annual bonuses for each WY-TOPP performance area
