Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Class A Over-the-Road (OTR) Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate tractor-trailers across long-distance routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Your expertise in commercial truck driving, route management, and cargo handling will drive our commitment to reliable service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Safely operate your tractor while hauling POD trailers and assigned freight
- Pick up and deliver freight to rail yards, ports, and customer locations
- Complete required pre-trip/post-trip inspections and paperwork
- Maintain required electronic logs and trip documentation
- Communicate with dispatch regarding pickups, deliveries, delays, or issues
- Follow DOT/FMCSA safety requirements and company procedures
- Maintain timely pickup and delivery performance
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Safe driving record
- Ability to meet DOT and company qualification requirements
- Dependable and professional communication
- Ability to operate safely in rail yard and intermodal environments
- Ability to work regional routes while returning home daily
- Must have 2 years of CDL-A Driving Experience
