What are the responsibilities and job description for the Education Coach position at Pocono Services for Families and Children, Inc.?
Immediate hiring for an Education Coach who assists in the development and implementation of classroom programming based on best practice by:
Building positive and sustainable relationships with all teaching staff by having continuous communication and understanding of teaching staff for successful outcomes. Interacting frequently and positively with staff, children, and families with unconditional respect, affection, interest, and care. Being respectful and supportive of all teachers by being punctual and, when possible, providing assistance as requested. Assisting teaching staff with the implementation of the Head Start Program Performance Standards, Keystone STARS, NAEYC, DHS, PA Early Learning Standards, the Head Start Early Learning Framework. Providing training, modeling, and support for implementation of CLASS skills in all classrooms.
Required: At least a BA in Early Childhood Education. Experience as a Lead Teacher for at least 5 years. Teaching experience in a preschool classroom is preferred.
