Pocket Change Laundry is a small business located at 1133 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville NC 28803. We are professional, autonomous, and customer-centric, and our goal is to provide excellent customer service to members of the Sweeten Creek NC, and surrounding areas. Our laundry facility is always staffed and offers the cleanest, most inviting, and enjoyable atmosphere.
CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and assist customers warmly, respond to inquiries, and ensure a positive experience by guiding them on using the facilities effectively.
- Operate and maintain washing machines and dryers.
- Wash, dry, and FOLD laundry to high standards, you will need to FOLD laundry as a regular part of this role—ensuring all items are neatly presented and handled with care.
- Keep the laundry facility clean and organized, check and clean equipment regularly, and restock necessary supplies.
- Follow all safety and health regulations, report any issues, and participate in safety training.
- Monitor and report on inventory levels, suggest operational improvements, and help maintain efficient service.
- Work closely with team members to achieve facility goals, attend team meetings, and provide support during peak times.
- Offer backup to other team members when necessary and adapt to varying shift requirements.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience in laundry or customer service beneficial but not required.
- Strong customer service, attention to detail, and ability to operate machinery.
- Ability to operate basic laundry machinery and maintain a clean workspace.
