Description: OFFICE ASSISTANT at HIGHLAND HIGH SCHOOL (part time)
Job Summary: The principal function is to assist the full time Registrar performing school-based duties associated with registering and
withdrawing high school students to and from school.
Salary Schedule: Rate of pay will be $16.78 per hour

Closing Date: APRIL 17, 2026. However, position will be open until filled.
Start Date: This position will start at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
Position Detail and Must be a strong team player with positive , flexible attitude, integrity and strong interpersonal skills helping with the following:
Qualifications:
Perform school based duties associated with registering and withdrawing high school students to and from school.
Contributing to the integrity, confidentiality, and security of all present and past student records with a high level of attention
to detail with focus on quality while working in a high volume environment.
Helping maintain the record keeping and filing system for all student cumulative files.
Track student satisfaction of graduation, STEM and NHS requirements and compliancy.
Track student compliance for both good student discounts and attendance required VOC's.
Accurately operate the Infinite Campus computer database to enter, retrieve, review, or modify data.
Maintains a professional atmosphere in the registrar's office by greeting and assisting staff, students, and visitors.
Answers the telephone; takes messages; provides information and assistance to students, staff, parents, district personnel
and the public. In addition to communicating customer friendly messaging as needed via e-mail or in person.
Must be able to work with job-related software such as Word, Excel or others.
Working Conditions: Will be working in the Registrars Office at Highland High School

THEY MUST ALSO UPLOAD A LETTER OF INTEREST, RESUME'. Skills testing will be
required for ALL applicants.. The skills tests will include Excel 2010 and Basic Office Skills. These tests must be taken at the Department of Labor, located at 430 North 5th. Pocatello, Idaho.
Benefits Information: This is a part time position and no benefits are available.
