About The Role

As Property Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team while ensuring our residents have a high-quality, affordable place to call home and access to programs that enhance their quality of life. Your work will directly impact individuals and families by maintaining the highest standards of property management while fostering inclusive communities. 8330 On the River is a high-rise building located on the banks of the Detroit River across from Belle Isle, and includes 280 apartments affordable to low-income elderly residents. The building was originally offered in a portfolio with five others, all nearing expiration of their Section 236 rent restrictions. It was against this backdrop that POAH and the Michigan State Housing Development Authority (MSHDA) pursued the opportunity to maintain affordability when 8330 On the River became available in 2003.

About You

  • 7 years of property management experience
  • Knowledge of federal and local affordable housing regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership abilities and team-building skills
  • Financial acumen and analytical mindset
  • Proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office
  • Tax Credit Specialist and/or Certified Occupancy Specialist certification
  • Excellence in resident relations and communication
  • Track record of successful property operations
