The Community Manager coordinates and supervises all phases of community operations. Job duties including, but are not limited to, the motivation of team members, Execution of leasing, marketing and operational service activities that achieve budgeted occupancy and customer retention goals.
As a Community Manager, your primary responsibilities include:
- Ensures all rents are collected when due and posted in a timely manner.
- Supervises planning, budgeting and control of operating and capital expenditures. Assist in the preparation of the annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly financial reports, and variance reports. Understands and provides explanation for variances.
- Maintaining expert level competitive marketplace knowledge
- Maintains and strives extraordinary customer service to all prospects and residents.
- Supervises and assists in all the leasing activities.
- Manage current vendor relationships and seek out vendors who are high quality, dependable and cost effective.
- Ensures that leasing files are complete, and the applicant move-in process is executed property in accordance with the company's and the community's established policies and procedures.
- Works with service manager in scheduling the make-ready maintenance of all vacant apartment homes.
- Responsible for offices opening on schedule and condition ofoffice and service team.
- Physically walk and inspect the community on a daily basis; ensuring a superior experience for all community amenity spaces and vacant apartment homes.
- Evaluates team performance, including the completion of annual performance reviews, while counseling underperformance and provides critical feedback to improve performance.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in the hospitality industry a plus
- Minimum High school diploma/GED required with Associates Degree highly preferred
- 2 years’ experience with financial and/or budget management
- Professional image with strong company integrity
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multi-task with ease and professionalism
- Highly refined verbal communication skills
- Flexible schedule, including some weekends
- Yardi and Rent Café experience a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
