What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver (Hourly) position at PNW BOCES?
DUTIES:
Putnam Northern Westchester BOCES anticipates the need for a Bus Driver (School Districts). Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Drives school bus for student field trips, special events, internship opportunities, and when transportation
- Maintains upkeep of school buses, cleans the floor and windows, empties wastebaskets, removes any
- Minor repairs to vehicle, and other bus-related tasks, as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of all safety practices required of position and the traffic laws that apply to School Bus Drivers. Must have valid New York State Department of Motor Vehicles CDL license and meet civil service requirements.
