Individual contributor supporting fund and management company accounting, reporting, tax coordination, and basic compliance. Reports to the VP of Finance with regular interaction with the managing partners. Clear path to increased ownership of processes and vendors and potential growth into a more senior role over time.
Key Responsibilities
Our primary focus is to attract, develop and retain elite Financial, Operational, and Restructuring consultants with experience in supporting primarily middle-market Private Equity backed portfolio companies and corporate clients in the following roles: CEO, COO, CFO, CRO, Controller, FP&A, Treasury, HR, Supply Chain and Procurement. Beyond technical expertise, we strive to partner with detailed oriented and hands-on practitioners committed to excellence and who appreciate challenging, fast-paced environments.

About The Role
Individual contributor supporting fund and management company accounting, reporting, tax coordination, and basic compliance. Reports to the VP of Finance with regular interaction with the managing partners. Clear path to increased ownership of processes and vendors and potential growth into a more senior role over time.
Key Responsibilities
- Support relationship management with fund administrators, tax advisors, auditors, and internal deal teams
- Help meet monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting deadlines for funds and the management company
- Assist with new fund and vehicle launches from a finance and reporting perspective
- Assist with quarterly reporting packages for limited partners and internal stakeholders
- Help review compliance reporting and support monitoring of debt facilities
- Assist in reviewing quarterly and annual GAAP financial statements and disclosures for funds
- Support review and calculation of management and performance fees
- Assist with regulatory and compliance-related filings as needed
- Help review cash flow projections and support daily cash management
- Respond to ad hoc information and analysis requests from internal teams and investors
- Compile and review information for tax advisors for estimates, extensions, and returns
- Help monitor fund expense budgets and payments for accuracy and appropriateness
- Assist in managing the corporate card expense review and approval process
- Approximately 1-4 years of public accounting experience; Big 4 or large national firm strongly preferred
- Meaningful tax experience with private equity funds, hedge funds, or other alternative investment vehicles strongly preferred
- Experience in fund accounting or portfolio reporting (fund administrator or asset manager) is a plus
- CPA preferred (or progress toward certification)
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and basic partnership/fund tax concepts
- Strong Excel skills; solid Word and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to work on-site 4-5 days per week
- Comfortable in a lean, fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and documentation habits
- Clear written and verbal communication; able to interact professionally with senior leadership and external providers
- High standards for accuracy and quality; strong ethics and integrity
- Legally authorized to work in the United States

- Base salary: $100,000-$110,000
- Target annual bonus: approximately 30% of base salary
