What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resources Generalist position at PMG Pennsylvania?
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Recruits, interviews and help facilitate the hiring of applicants for open positions. Will collaborate with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required.
· Conducts or acquires background checks and drug screening
· Implements new hire orientation
· Onboarding new employees
· Payroll
· Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition and morale; occupational health and safety
· Updates and maintains PMG’s HRIS System, provides reporting to management
· Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring to complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff
· Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, and code of business conduct.
· Participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations and investigations.
· Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
· Maintains knowledge of best practices, regulatory changes, and employment law
· Supports communication with 3rd party administrators (benefits, HRIS)
· Performs other duties as assigned

Pay: $50,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
