Medical Assistant

Duties
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature with precision and care
- Support physicians with strong communication and assistance
- Assist with medical documentation using Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Administer medications or injections under supervision in accordance with established protocols including B-12 and mixing powder to liquid injectable medications
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas
- Assist with patient education on medication administration or health maintenance strategies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a medical assistant, or similar responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology
- Familiarity with EHR systems
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations
- Strong organizational skills to manage intake processes, vital signs collection, medication administration support and documentation efficiently
- BLS/CPR Certification
- Medical Assistant certification (preferred)
- Must pass a background check and drug test
