TEMPORARY POSITION FOR 3 - 4 MONTHS
JOB SUMMARY:
The as-built surveyor will conduct field surveys and studies to gather site and building data that will be used to create accurate plans of existing buildings. This person will also create site and building drawings using AutoCAD. Knowledge of Revit is a plus.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBIITIES:
- Collect, measure, and verify data from survey sites. Training will be provided to ensure that the as-built surveyor is proficient using advanced documentation tools such as 360 degree building scanners and drones.
- Record, prepare, and describe survey data and create plans utilizing a variety of sources including 3D point clouds and photogrammetry.
- Responsible for producing accurate as-built surveys in the field as well as drafting construction documents for retail, casual dining restaurant, and other type projects. Fueling experience is a plus, but not required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 - 5 years’ experience creating building drawings and construction lay-outs using AutoCAD or Revit drafting software.
- 2 - 3 years of as-built building surveys or construction experience.
- Ability to perform and work as a one-person crew utilizing state-of-the-art documentation equipment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this position.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook and other applications.
- Must be detail oriented, highly organized, able to meet deadlines consistently.
- Must be a team player and willing to contribute to a fast-paced, dynamic, creative environment.
- Good listener and able to take and follow directions.
DISCLAIMER:
This position requires travel, at times, extensive travel for many consecutive days in and outside the state. The physical demand of the position requires standing, walking, bending, climbing on ladders, and working in cold, wet, hot, windy weather elements. Sitting for long periods of time driving to and from locations. A valid driver’s license clear of violations and acceptable background screening results are required.
