We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Drafter / Detailer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will transform architectural plans and project requirements into precise shop drawings and fabrication details, ensuring our systems are delivered to spec on time.
What You’ll Do:
- Create detailed shop drawings and fabrication documents using AutoCAD.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and shop staff.
- Prepare bills of materials and support purchasing/fabrication needs.
- Provide clear, accurate drawings that support installation crews in the field.
- Communicate and problem solve with architects, construction managers, and internal sales and product teams.
- Bring skills, expertise, and knowledge which supports process improvement and customer satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit/SolidWorks and creating dynamic blocks a plus).
- Prior drafting/detailing experience in multi-story type 1,3, & 5 multi-story multi-family construction placing products into architectural details for approval.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, building plans, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and teamwork.
