TITLE: DIRECTOR OF HUMAN RESOURCES
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Master’s degree in Human Resources, Educational Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred 2. Massachusetts DESE licensure as School Administrator/Director preferred or eligible 3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources or public school administration 4. Strong knowledge of Massachusetts employment law, collective bargaining, and educator licensure requirements 5. Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through equitable hiring, employee relations, and HR practices that support a diverse workforce and inclusive school community. 6. Experience in HR systems, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance 7. Demonstrated ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters 8. REPORTS TO: SUPERVISES: JOB GOAL: Assistant Superintendent for Finance and School Operations Human Resources Specialist and other assigned Human Resources personnel To provide district-level leadership and oversight of human resources systems and services, ensuring effective recruitment, compliance, labor relations support, and employee support functions. The Director of Human Resources develops, implements, and monitors HR systems and policies that support a high-quality workforce aligned with district priorities and legal requirements. Provides leadership for district HR operations under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent Develops, implements, and maintains HR systems, procedures, and workflows Ensures consistent application of HR practices across the district Oversees HR data integrity and system reporting (Human Resources Information System, personnel records, compliance tracking) Talent Acquisition and Workforce Support 2.1. 2.2. 2.3. 2.4.
