Peak Insights, a PLUS Communications company, is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our public opinion research team. This role works closely with Project Managers to assist in the day-to-day execution of research projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of reports and data.
The Project Coordinator plays a critical role in preparing research deliverables, checking data accuracy, conducting background research, and supporting project operations. Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers with the daily management and execution of research projects
- Support the preparation of client deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers
- Create and format client-ready reports and presentations
- Conduct data proofing and quality checks to ensure accuracy across reports and deliverables
- Review and proof cross-tabulated data tables and other research outputs
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations that outline and visually present survey findings
- Create data tables and assist with data visualization and graphing of research results
- Conduct secondary research, including voter file and voter history analysis, candidate research, district demographic analysis, background research relevant to research projects
- Compile and organize research findings for internal use
- Assist with special projects and additional administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 1–3 years of administrative, coordination, or project support experience
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work effectively
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Familiarity with PowerPoint
- Strong research skills, including the ability to identify relevant data sources, gather needed information, and summarize findings clearly and concisely for internal teams and project managers
- Excellent proofreading and quality control skills
- Ability to interpret and present data clearly
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
