Project Coordinator Overview
Montana Concrete Polishing is seeking a Project Coordinator to support both bidding and active project operations. This position plays an important role in organizing construction documents, performing quantity takeoffs, assisting with proposal preparation, maintaining project documentation, and supporting projects from initial bid through closeout.
The Project Coordinator role works directly with company leadership and provides a defined path toward an Estimator position based on performance and demonstrated capability.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities
- Organize and review construction drawings and specifications
- Perform digital quantity takeoffs and prepare detailed summaries
- Assist in preparation and submission of competitive proposals
- Track addenda, RFIs, and bid deadlines to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Support project setup and internal coordination
- Maintain organized project documentation from bid through closeout
- Assist with submittals, product data collection, warranties, and final closeout packages
- Support change order documentation and tracking
Project Coordinator Qualifications
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office technology
- Ability to interpret construction drawings preferred
- Interest in developing a long-term career in construction estimating
Prior construction or estimating experience is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
