Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer
Location: Detroit, Michigan (Hybrid – 1 Day Onsite per Week)

About the Role
- Plumlogix is seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Lead Salesforce Service Cloud Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a senior Salesforce professional with strong Service Cloud expertise, leadership capabilities, and exposure to the automotive industry or automotive business processes.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing Salesforce solutions while collaborating closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Detroit, MI, requiring 1 day onsite per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce Service Cloud solutions.
- Translate complex business requirements into technical solutions and system architecture.
- Develop and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, Flows, and integrations.
- Configure and enhance Service Cloud capabilities including:
- Case Management; Omni-Channel; Service Console; Knowledge Base
- Entitlements & Milestones; Email-to-Case and Web-to-Case
- Drive best practices around Salesforce development, code quality, governance, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Support integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise applications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical leadership to the development team.
- Participate in solution design discussions, sprint planning, code reviews, and production support.
- Work closely with automotive business users and understand customer support, service operations, dealer support, or automotive service workflows where applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of Salesforce development experience with strong expertise in Salesforce Service Cloud.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Apex; Lightning Web Components (LWC); SOQL/SOSL
- Salesforce APIs and integrations; Salesforce Flows and automation
- CI/CD and deployment tools
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and platform best practices.
- Experience implementing and supporting Service Cloud features and customer service workflows.
- Prior experience in the automotive industry or exposure to automotive customer service/support processes is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with 1 day onsite presence in Detroit, MI.

- Salesforce Platform Developer I/II
- Salesforce Administrator
- Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant
- Salesforce Application Architect
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP systems, dealer management systems, or enterprise platforms.
