We’re looking for an HR Specialist who is organized, approachable, and ready to take ownership of recruiting, onboarding, employee support, and other important HR initiatives. This is a full-time, in-person position based at our Louisville headquarters. Remote work is not available for this role.

WHAT THE JOB LOOKS LIKE DAY-TO-DAY- Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, from job posting and candidate sourcing through interviews, pre-employment requirements, and offers
- Build candidate pipelines through recruiting channels, networking, community partnerships, referrals, and direct outreach
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and identify the skills required for success
- Develop creative recruiting strategies that strengthen our visibility in the labor market
- Coordinate new-hire documentation, orientation support, hiring-manager communication, and follow-up
- Support employee offboarding, exit interviews, departmental notifications, and required documentation
- Respond to routine employee questions about policies, procedures, benefits, and HR programs
- Prepare and maintain accurate employee records, correspondence, and other HR documentation
- Help ensure HR processes are completed accurately, consistently, and on time
- Assist with employee engagement, recognition programs, company activities, and culture-building efforts
- Support HR projects, employee communications, and process-improvement initiatives
- Travel to other company locations as needed to support recruiting, onboarding, and employee needs
- Working knowledge of Human Resources practices, policies, procedures, and employment-related requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with applicants, employees, managers, and outside contacts
- Sound judgment and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality
- Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines without losing attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR-related systems
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regionally to company locations as needed
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
