Position Overview
The CSR / Dispatcher is the first point of contact for customers. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organization, and the ability to manage technician schedules efficiently. You will coordinate service calls, assist customers, and ensure our plumbers are dispatched quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and schedule plumbing service appointments
- Dispatch technicians to jobs based on location, urgency, and availability
- Communicate job details clearly with technicians in the field
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professionalism with customers
- Update job notes, schedules, and customer information in the system
- Follow up with customers regarding appointments and service updates
- Assist with invoices, estimates, and general office tasks when needed
Requirements
- Previous dispatching or customer service experience preferred
- Experience in plumbing, HVAC, or home services industry is a plus
- Strong phone and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills and scheduling software experience
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
