What are the responsibilities and job description for the Asphalt Maintenance Laborer position at PLS Asphalt Maintenance?
Immediate Opening:
Asphalt Maintenance Laborer: Full-time, seasonal position, Frankfort, NY.
We’re looking for a motivated individual who is eager to learn, work with heavy equipment, and take pride in delivering excellent results. Experience is a definite plus.
$19.00 / Hour (depending on experience), plus some prevailing wage work.
Work hours can vary greatly, may include both day & night hours, overtime, and many nights and weekends are required.
Must have a NYS Driver's License with a clean driving record. Must have a Construction OSHA-30 or willing to obtain it. Must have or be willing to get a Flagger Certificate.
No experience necessary; however, Crackfilling, Sealcoating, Striping, Layout of Sports Courts, Heavy Equipment Operating and/or General Asphalt Maintenance Experience is definitely a plus.
Must have reliable transportation, be prompt, dependable, willing to learn and really want to work.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 60 lbs. and work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards.
We are a 100% smoke-free and vape-free workplace. Smoking or Vaping on jobsites and in company trucks and equipment is strictly prohibited.
Must be able to pass random drug testing.
