Strategic Financial Analyst (AmLaw Firm | Miami, FL | Hybrid)
A highly regarded AmLaw law firm is seeking a Strategic Financial Analyst to support firm leadership in driving data-informed decision-making, financial strategy, and long-term growth initiatives. This is a high-visibility role partnering directly with executive leadership, including the Managing Partner, COO, and senior stakeholders, to transform complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and report on key financial metrics including revenue, profitability, productivity, and accounts receivable
- Build and maintain dynamic dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI and related tools
- Develop financial models and predictive analytics to forecast trends and identify risks/opportunities
- Support strategic initiatives including partner compensation modeling, lateral partner analysis, and practice group performance
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and data environments (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Data Lakes) to enhance reporting and automation
- Partner cross-functionally with leadership and technical teams to integrate financial data into broader systems and workflows
What They’re Looking For
- 4–8 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or strategic finance
- Experience working in a professional services or law firm environment strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Excel, and financial modeling
- Exposure to data environments, business intelligence tools, or AI-driven analytics (Microsoft Fabric, Data Lakes, etc.)
- Strong ability to communicate insights to non-financial stakeholders and senior leadership
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive in driving business outcomes
