An AmLaw20 law firm with a global footprint is building out a next-generation Legal Technology function focused on defensible data collection across complex litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters.
This is not a back-office eDiscovery role — this is a client-facing, technically hands-on position where you will work directly with attorneys and clients to execute high-impact data collection strategies across cloud, mobile, and enterprise environments.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Execute defensible data collections across cloud, endpoint, mobile, and enterprise systems
- Work directly with clients to identify data sources and develop collection strategies
- Perform both remote and on-site collections (10–20% travel)
- Maintain audit-ready documentation and chain of custody
- Partner with attorneys and internal teams on high-stakes matters
- Contribute to building scalable processes and playbooks
What We’re Looking For
- 2–4 years of hands-on eDiscovery / digital forensics / data collection experience
- Background in consulting environments preferred (e.g., FTI, Deloitte, PwC, A&M)
- Experience with both:
- Remote/cloud collections (M365, Purview, etc.)
- On-site/device collections (mobile, endpoints, forensic tools)
- Strong documentation skills (defensible collections chain of custody)
- Comfortable in a client-facing environment
Technical Exposure
Experience across tools such as:
Relativity Collect | Microsoft Purview | Cellebrite | FTK | Magnet Axiom (or similar)
