Overview
The Recruitment Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the recruiting process, ensuring the organization attracts and retains qualified talent. In addition to managing recruitment activities, this role is responsible for handling payroll processing, managing workers’ compensation (BWC) claims, and overseeing unemployment claims to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Recruitment & Staffing:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
- Oversee applicant tracking, compliance documentation, and employee records.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent and meet organizational goals.
- Supervise and train recruiting staff, ensuring quality standards and productivity goals are met.
Payroll Administration:
- Process weekly payroll accurately and on time for temporary and internal employees.
- Verify timecards, manage adjustments, and ensure proper deductions and compliance with wage laws.
- Maintain payroll records and respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly.
BWC (Workers’ Compensation) Claims:
- File and manage workers’ compensation claims with the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC).
- Track claim statuses and maintain accurate documentation for audits or reporting.
- Ensure compliance with safety and injury reporting policies.
Unemployment Claims:
- Respond to and manage all unemployment claims and hearings.
- Provide accurate documentation and timely responses to minimize employer liability.
- Maintain detailed records of terminations and disciplinary actions to support claim responses
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in recruiting, payroll processing, or HR administration.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, payroll systems, and BWC/unemployment procedures.
- Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR/payroll software systems.
- High attention to detail and confidentiality.
