What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Consultant - Custom position at PLI Cards?
The primary responsibility of the Business Development Consultant - Custom is to promote and sell branded finished goods to customers that are not currently purchasing from existing programs with PLI; including but not limited to, key cards (non-event or custom), door hangers, envelopes, portfolios and any other stocked items to new or past existing customers. Products will be sold through phone calls, written and e-mail communications and direct advertising (sample packs). The Business Development Consultant's primary role is to bring customers back to PLI so the Customer Service team can continue maintenance of all branded or custom finished goods in stock at PLI.
Job Duties:
Establish customer relationships to sell new and older properties for PLI Branded FG products (6 months since last purchase). The brands are within PLI’s approved vendor list.
Provide quotations or contracted pricing for any new or current accounts for all FG products, which may include keycards (non-event or co-branding) door hangers, envelopes, portfolios and other products offered by PLI.
Contact any and all properties that have not purchased for at least 6 months by:
Phone
Email
Vendor Portal
Up-sell other products on each phone call if applicable by brand
Update Salesforce Campaign information on every account that you touch to confirm adequate tracking and compensation.

Prepare and send out all requested sample packs
Enter orders as received from accounts into Monarch
Perform these and other duties as assigned by supervisor or other appropriate management personnel.
Qualifications:
Two years’ experience in a sales or customer service-related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be a self-starter that is motivated by achieving goals and organized.
Proficient in use of personal computer and software including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Must be able to travel on a limited basis in support of trade shows
