What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney (Contract/Part-Time) position at Pless Law Firm?
Pless Law Firm is looking to add an experienced litigator to our team on a part-time or contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in real estate, corporate, and business litigation matters from inception through resolution.
- Draft, review, and argue motions, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and, where applicable, trials.
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Manage case timelines, ensure compliance with procedural rules, and coordinate with co-counsel.
Requirements::
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Colorado, California (preferred) and Texas (preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience, with demonstrated expertise in real estate, corporate, and business disputes.
- Strong courtroom advocacy, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional legal writing, analytical, and research abilities.

Salary Range (for Colorado positions only):
As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act, Pless Law Firm is committed to providing a good faith salary range for this position (if based in Colorado): $250 - $450 per hour. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.
