What are the responsibilities and job description for the Jet Ski Rental Associate position at Pleasant Water Sports?
Pleasant Water Sports is an on-the-water rental company. We are locally owned and operated and offer jet skis, stand up paddle boards, and hot tub boats from Scorpion Bay Marina at Lake Pleasant Regional Park in Peoria, Arizona.
This is a seasonal gig - we are looking for someone for the 2026 season. The season is in full swing now and will go through the end of October. The height of the season is Memorial Day through Labor Day.
MUST BE AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS AND HOLIDAYS!
Attention to detail is vital in this role – the ability to make sure every form is filled out correctly for each rental is key.
We are looking for someone who:

Responsibilities:
- Work with customers to complete paperwork prior to rentals
- Ensure each guest watches the briefing video and answer any questions that result
- Launch jet skis with customers from slips at marina
- Pull jet skis onto slips at marina safely and without damage
- Inspect equipment prior to and following rentals
- Clean equipment after each rental
- Launch and load jet skis and other watercraft into the lake from boat ramp
- Hook and unhook trailers safely and effectively
- Drive trailers back and forth from maintenance shop to the lake
- Assist with social media and marketing efforts
- Rescue downed equipment when necessary
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- Open availability, including weekends, holidays, and long hours
- Ability to back a trailer
- Physically capable of working in all weather conditions (including very high temperatures), hooking and unhooking trailers, and working with diverse audiences
- Social media experience a plus
- Marketing experience a plus
- Jet ski experience (riding and mechanical) a plus
