Position Overview:
As a Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA), you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive timely, safe, and accurate medication administration. You will work closely with licensed nurses and the care team to enhance the well-being of our residents in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer oral, inhalation, and topical medications under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- Monitor residents for any adverse drug reactions and report concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration in accordance with facility policies.
- Assist in monitoring residents’ conditions and reporting changes to the care team.
- Take vital signs, stock medication carts, and handle medication disposal following regulations.
- Ensure the safe storage and handling of all medications.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required.
- Valid Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience or 2 years as a medication aide.
- Strong understanding of medical and pharmacological terminology.
