Executive Assistant
The Executive Assistant position will report directly to the President and will be responsible for tasks related to the daily operation of the Chamber of Commerce. A part-time position, 15-20 hours per week, typically from 9 a.m. to 2p.m. (Can be flexible) Monday through Friday. Some additional hours may be requested for special events when needed.
The Assistant will help manage multiple tasks, events and projects, overseeing chamber communications, website, chamber software, daily tasks, and assisting the President in any additional areas.
Essential Responsibilities Include: Managing events, social media, website advertising/graphics, event coordination, chamber software and various other forms of communication, along with office duties.
Compensation: $16-16.50 per hour (DOE)
Position Responsibilities:
- Answer phones, greet office visitors, maintain office supplies and other general office tasks
- Schedule and create marketing and email material for Members
- Responsible for the creation of monthly newsletter, help to create copy and layout of advertisements, posters, etc., using Adobe Spark, Canva, Illustrator or other graphic programs
- Event coordination and planning, send event invitations, manage event rosters, and make reminder phone calls
- Update and maintain all Chamber office materials
- Responsible for updating Chamber social media, Social media experience a plus
- Additional projects as assigned

· Displays a high degree of tact and diplomacy and the ability to interact with Membership, City personnel, Board, and others in a positive and effective manner.
Position Requirements:
- Demonstrates excellent written and oral communication skills, organization skills, is detail-oriented, and demonstrates the ability to coordinate multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel, Google apps.
- Database Navigation and Graphic Design experience is a plus
- Must have a valid Utah driver’s license.
- Must be able to occasionally lift 15-20lbs
