Reporting to the Finance Director, USA, this finance business partner works across markets and functions to advise on business risks and opportunities and sharpen operational analysis for decision-making.
The role encompasses:
- Translate business proposals to finance models, developing customized financial models to assess the feasibility of the business model for existing businesses and new businesses (tender, bid, and proposals), and other strategic projects.
- Wide range of analysis on cost, revenue, and margin by customer, segments, and region.
- Ad-hoc analysis and support financial projects, as directed by leadership.
- Support the Finance Director on any aspect of strategic commercial finance to the business.
- Responsible for gathering information, data compilation, and analysis for business financial performance & processes focused on:
- Create and maintain financial/analytical models for the business
- Budgeting and planning processes and guidelines and governance of business and all KPIs,
- Delivering monthly management P&L, and variance analysis,
- Financial analysis, and tracking core business performance.
- Offer financial input, guidance, and to ensure smooth project execution.
Education Level
- Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting. MBA a plus.
- Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience
- Recent 8 years in a finance business role at a mid-management level.
- Power BI and/or TM1 software is highly desired
- Operational accounting background – ability to understand data flows and controls around the integrity of data.
- Working knowledge of the Sun Accounting System would be an advantage.
